Summary
This case study examined the effects of contingent imitation on vocal verbal responses in a young child with language disorder. The study used an alternating treatments design to compare conditions and evaluate changes in the child’s vocal speech.
The study contributes to the Training and Verbal Behavior lines by examining how contingent imitation can be arranged as an interaction-based procedure for expanding vocal verbal responses in an applied setting.
