Summary

This study compared the effects of the number of presented task types on task engagement among young children and children with autism spectrum disorder. The study focused on previously learned tasks and examined how arranging task variation could influence engagement.

The study contributes to the Supporting and Autism Support lines by evaluating how task arrangements can be structured to support engagement in applied educational or developmental contexts.
